I don't usually do this. I like to post fics, or at least chapters of fics, which are nice looking, easy to read, cleaned-up and complete.
But this time I'm going to show you something that I've been working on for over a year. I call it "Army Dean" though the actual title is "Whatever Happened to Dean Forester?"
What happened to me here, is that I got an idea for a fic, and I began writing it with Dean and one Gilmore girl. Then I thought, "Wow, what if I did it with the other Gilmore girl?" So I have two versions of an unfinished fic and an extra scene with his parents that I haven't decided what to do with yet. Because I haven't decided whether to make his parents 'good guys' or 'bad guys'.
What I planned was to ultimately finish BOTH stories and post them both. I still may do that. But since that doesn't seem to be happening at the moment, I thought I'd maybe post what I have. This is just a weird look into my writing process, I guess. If you have any helpful comments, I'd appreciate them.

Author's Notes: According to the AKB 'verse slaves are freeze branded. It isn't said what with. I feel it would be something small and universally acknowledged. Such as a particular design that has come to designate slave. I'm thinking an S that resembles a figure kneeling. This is what a freeze brand looks like on human skin. Freeze Branding Yourself, Though I feel that one looks a bit thick and clumsy. I think the slave brands would look more like this.

Author's Notes: Well, the FAQ says that "When a slave is of low-enough value to be purchased outright--particularly if the slave has already been remanded to Commerce" and I took that and kind of ran with it. I needed a slave price low enough that a hunter could afford it. I had to take some liberties with Dean Forester's appearance so that he would not look exactly like Sam. And of course, eventually I'll have to give him a new name.

dean_revolution, gg_fic, narcoleptics Author's Notes: In Forgiveness and Stuff, there is a lady at the Gilmores' Christmas party named Gigi ("Take this drink to Gigi") and that is who I would have really liked to be the person in this chapter with the fountain problem. But, since the Palladinos re-used the name Gigi for Christopher and Sherry's daughter, I thought it would be confusing. I was then going to use the other lady at the party, Holland Prescott, but she was too nice. So I used Natalie from Eight O'Clock at the Oasis ("There she is, The Cobra.") and gave her the last name Prescott. In case you were wondering, which you weren't. In further unrelated trivia, the Palladinos also used the names Randy and Barbara twice. They are two relatives of Luke's who won't come to his Uncle Louie's funeral because they don’t wanna miss their brat kid’s rugby semifinal, and they're Dean's parents' names in his wedding announcement. I always thought it would be kinda funny if they turned out to be the same people.
